The mentoring team arrive in Moldova

Today is the second day for the new team who have arrived from England. The team are  not only friends but close family to me. They are John Kennedy,Jenny,Anne Webster and Richard Greenwood. They are here to bring a mentoring course to the young people of the church ,this will help to equip them to be mentors/disciples to other young people. Anne is here to give moral support but also to share her testimony and her gift of singing with the church. These people have given and sacrificed their time to come ,and also to spend time with a treasured little girl Charisse (our daughter).

So how are they settling ? very well actually, their journey consisted of a very long 2 days, Manchester to Munich,an overnight stay on the airport sofas. a flight to Chisinau and a long journey to pascani village. Of course they got the shock our other team got when they had a toilet stop and discovered the loos.( everyone gets a shock when they go to the toilets). Everyone have survived and enjoyed a very well rested and comfy first night in a bed in Pascani.

The team attended the church service and were all introduced at the front of the church and met the locals and  have eaten the finest Moldavian food and eaten at the local pizza place in the town Andy’s pizza .Tomorrow we plan the mentoring course and spend some time fellowshipping and praying. We want God to move in the church and for the team to be used by God in a mighty way. please pray for the team for the next 2 weeks . xxx Yolanda
